Flaming Black Sand!

So there was an artist who constructed a black sand and propane instalation next to the flaming hand out by the man. I'm hoping someone knows him or he's on the boards here somewhere, that guy was awesome! That flaming black sand installation has been going round and round in my head since I got back and I was wondering if it could be expanded upon for next year into a...

FLAMING ZEN GARDEN!

Don't know how this would be done *safely* but safety 3rd and all that, I thought that a flaming zen garden/rock garden would be a beautiful piece for 2012.
