It turns out an old friend of mine is one of the folks that run the electronics supply company http://www.ladyada.net/make/ and he LOVED the wings. So, he asked me if he sent me more EL wire if I could write up a tutorial on how to make the wings. For the tutorial I went for a different design - luna moth wings!
I'm writing the tutorial right now, but here's a sneak peak at the results (I'll link up the tutorial as soon as it's done - should be the next day or so!)
The tutorial will include the full pattern for these wings, but I wanted to give my fellow ePlayans a sneak peek - so here you go!

The craft foam is really easy to work with too, so coming up with your own designs is pretty easy.
