politics at burning man 2012!!

Post by lemur » Wed Oct 26, 2011 3:12 am

yay!! it's like 2008 all over again... (ok not really)

maybe some of you remember 2008 and were at burning man, and tuned in to BMIR...

you know, that was the year we had that shitty "american dream" theme...

much to the chagrin of the fellow workers in the lamplighters kitchen my fellow bacon chef and myself demanded that we be allowed to listen to barack obamas acceptance speech at the democratic convention..

I dare say... listening live in the desert to the sat feed over the radio station which has no qualms about playing Fuck the police ... was amusing at the time..

and this year we get another chance at encountering this historical event when the republicans hold their convention August 27 to the 30th.. during burn week...

but, I for one hope BMIR steps up once again and shocks the world by giving the citizens the BRC the choice to hear HISTORY IN THE MAKING and saying a big FU to all the fools who think burning man isnt the real world.

(the democrats have their convention starting labour day)..

Not sure what you're trying to say, Lemur.
