Los Angeles Burner Parents
Hello, my son and I just moved to Los Angeles and would like to start a Los Angeles Burner family group. Most of my burner friends are childless and as I home school my son he needs associates of his age. We joined a liberal parent group, and discovered people who voted for Obama and shop at Whole Foods think they are liberal and I am a freak.....so I'll be proactive about this and create a loving accepting environment for proud freaks! PM me if you are interested and I will get a FB page started for us.

From the main site, click on "Regionals" in the small print near the top of the page, then on the map and narrow in on CA and then LA. Join the LA mailing lists, and put out some feelers there. Good luck.
(You might meet some interested folks here, but this is the slow season.)

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Good advice as always Savannah.Savannah wrote:From the main site, click on "Regionals" in the small print near the top of the page, then on the map and narrow in on CA and then LA. Join the LA mailing lists, and put out some feelers there. Good luck.

chakrakhan, Reno's regional list has BOTH an 'annouce' list (for event annoucements) AND a 'discussion' list. If your BM regional has BOTH, I highly reccomend you sign up for both. The discussion list is a fanastic resource for anything burn related. I've witnessed and part of some truly wonderful happenings, all burn related of course.
I'm not sure, but I think regionals with only the event announce list (e.g. Tahoe) do allow some shout outs, ask the co-ordinator if it's cool to post non-event shout outs if that's your situation. (I have feeling L.A. will have both) Have fun!
I'm the MAN in a truck, burner who is stuck, you're in luck! I'll whip out my BIG tow chain and not charge you, not even one lousy buck!
