A vision too big...

What do you do if you have a vision stuck in your head that is just too damn big and/or complicated to bring to life? For three nights now I've had the same dream of a giant sculpture-- sitting on the Playa, of course-- huge skeletons of two Dinosaurs humping!
In the dream it's funny, erotic, ironic, and vivid... and I can't seem to make it go away. The problem is, I'm not a sculptor, never having made anything bigger than a barstool...

If it were me I'd do a "kickstarter" and pocket all of the money. Burning Man was way better last year anyway.

Take a class, learn some shit, figure it out. Start with smaller models or try sketching it first.

Sculpt it the size of a barstool then, and have it displayed in Center Camp with the other smallish art. Or in front of your camp, securely fastened down.

Please bear in mind that if they are just dinosaur skeletons, there will be no penis evident, and it will simply look like two dinosaurs wrestling.

Are they doing it Jurassic or Cretaceous style?
Seriously, you could get a couple of those wooden dinosaur models you find at toy stores, place as desired, then scale up, make it out of plywood, and it would probably disassemble nicely for trucking to the playa. I think it is a damn good idea, and you could add the "Dino" bone in an artistic flair!

If you can use a jig saw make it from plywood like those 3d dinosaur puzzles.

Good luck figuring out what a dinosaur penis bone should look like though.

I've read a lot. And thought about things. But there are gaps in my knowledge you could drive a truck through. Such as, trucks! I don't really know a lot about them...
