Canadian Burngins - Over the moon

Post by Ceyenne » Sat Feb 04, 2012 9:13 am

Burning man has been on my bucket list for years... A friend and I decided to put in for the lottery, but we both didnt think we would get any tickets.

We won!
<sorry, I feel a little guilty, but I am excited too>

I know this is a once in a lifetime event for me, and I am looking to make the very most of it!
Naturally, I am somewhat reserved, but I am prepared to step outside of myself, and enjoy. I am glad I have 7 months to phsych myself up for the experience, and plan.

I have to admit, I have become a bit nervous. The hot desert, is a little concerning for this canadian polar bear :)
Tips on keeping cool, definitely would be appreciated!

I guess, a thank you is in order, I am honoured to have the opportunity to burn with you! I hope that despite my Burnginity I can play an active part of the community.
:)

Welcome!

jump on in here.
It's a great place to network, meet folks and get info.
BUT:
do your homework, and research, please, before posting easy to answer questions.
some here will get pretty snarky, if you ask the obvious, or easy to research question.
there are lots of helpful threads here, great info.
you can use the search feature here, or, "google" terms in your question, with "eplaya" in the search, and it'll probably take you right to it.

Start at page 40.

I do a complete recap every 5 pages so people don't have to wade trough the whole thread. 8)

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hi Ceyenne! Don't feel guilty for winning the lottery; focus instead on being the best-prepared virgin you can be, and making the most of your trip.

Welcome to the board. :)
