Been reading on the Burning Blog comments that there are "only 17 tickets" avail. currently in STEP (Maid Marian).
that would be fine, but the email i received said there were "a couple hundred"...
I know that whatever will be, will be. If there are only 17 tickets, then there are only 17 tickets...
But I just don't know what's up: which number is more accurate?
So are there 17 tickets? or a "couple hundred"?

"a couple hundred"
17 is someone claiming to be Marion in a cacophony (we hope) prank.
So you can breath deep...

Hi, I could not find a blog post by Maid Marian from the last few days. Could you please post the URL to that post?FeetOfClay wrote:Been reading on the Burning Blog comments that there are "only 17 tickets" avail. currently in STEP (Maid Marian).

I have seen several blog comments from people claiming to be Maid Marian. I suspect you saw a comment. I doubt that any Burning Man LLC staff would publish any numbers on tickets at this point.
If you have received an email from Burning Man, I would be inclined to believe that over other un-official sources.

It's discussed in one of the other threads in this sub-forum.

the post in question is toward the bottom of the "comments" page on this blog post:
http://blog.burningman.com/2012/02/news ... ep-system/
thanks to all for replying. i was hoping/thinking it might be a hoax...but i've got the ticket-crazies right now
also, thought it might be suspect, as they post says there are "21,000" in the Step queue, but the email said they'd halt it after 2000.

I've checked with BMHQ, and that was not posted by Maid Marian (blog comments don't require creating accounts/logins). The numbers that poster quoted are not accurate.
