market umbrellas- metal or wood?
Hey- yes, I know they don't last in high winds. Used them forever. Anyone know which is preferable- metal or wood market umbrellas?

As for those big umbrellas... I wouldn't bother, the sun slants in so much you'd not get much effective shade during most of the day. Unless you're going for a certain look rather than practicality.
