Osiris, launched in 2011 and based in Reno/Sparks is back and better than before with some stunning new additions to our camp for 2012! We are thrilled to have partnered with the legendary Black Rock Syndicate to create a village with a simple purpose: bring the people what they want…a unique sound, dance and performing arts destination for day parties and grooving from sundown to sun up!

We welcome EDM fans and dance junkies to join us! Bring your contagious energy, a commitment to green your Burn, and a passion for opening the hearts and minds of our guests – Burgin or veteran Burner alike - and be a part of a camp truly designed by house heads for house heads! Once again, the Osiris Pyramid will be host to a mind-blowing lineup that put us on the map in 2011, and BRS will keep the dust flying with the day parties that made them a playa heavy hitter!

New for this year are some astounding visual additions: flame effects to crown the Pyramid, A 150,000W Avalon sound system, custom lighting effects and visual projections, the Eye of Osiris, and the one-of-a-kind Pharaoh’s head DJ booth complete with dance platforms!

Also new for 2012…an expanded power grid access, tiered camp dues including a meal-inclusive option prepared by our camp chefs, and playa-conscious showers. Special abilities or trade skills are welcome but not required, but thoughtful camp involvement IS. We are unapologetically a “working camp” with realistic expectation from camp members…everyone lends a hand, and everyone benefits. It’s not drudgery; it’s about cooperation to make a positive experience we can all share.

Generally speaking, if you're interested in joining you should PM the original poster for more info. That puts a message in their inbox, and usually sends them a notification. If all you're doing is posting casual interest in the thread, it won't get seen until the next time someone happens to check in on the boards and catch up on the thread.

I've merged scurry's trying-to-contact thread with the main Osiris thread. Have patience, not everybody is as connected to the internet as we'd like, and murphy's law dictates that the more anxious you are to get a response the more likely the person on the other end isn't available.
