Hey Jjames63!
Here's a great thread for RV users whether or not you rent or own:
Exp. RVers: Suggestions for House rules for renting an RV
http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?t=34551
Ooh, and one more:
Keeping the RV dust-free (well, as dust-free as possible)
http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=46062
Read Fishy's thread linked above, and then try the forum it's a larger part of: 2012 Theme Camps.
An RV makes a great windblock and camp border. They're a welcome part of many a camp. If you don't run your generator all night, you're bound to have friends whether you find a group, or just pull in somewhere in open camping (you'll receive a map at Greeter's, after Gate). You will have neighbors whether or not you're in a camp. Introduce yourself when you pull up, and ask if a seat is taken.
Welcome to the board . . .
