im hearing rumors that the feds aren't letting people onto the playa until sunday midnight? is this true, and have you heard of anything similar to this?

This is very true, the permit starts on the 30th. So don't plan to get to the Playa until midnight or after.

the offical word from BM ORG is that early arrival is no longer an option. if you you arrive before monday and your name is not on the list for set up ect. you will be turned away.
