artist/web developer needs home and workspace in bay area

i've been searching for a month but can't seem to find my new home. i left my place in the fillmore of 3 years in hopes of finding a new home closer to peers and possible with space to work on art (jewelery, metal sculture, general hyper creation).

i'm 32, employed as a web developer, easy going and social.
i'm looking in oakland, emeryville and sf. i have two cats and minimal belongings (maybe a bit more than minimal).

i'm looking for help, a sublet, advice, anything...
