Help Getting to Burning man

Hello all! names Tim from Australia, I'm trying to plan a trip to Burning man, got advice so far to fly into Reno and sign up for the STEP program to get tickets. What options (cheapest) do i have of getting there? is there a car sharing system that's avaliable at all?

At the Reno airport there will be rideshares. They have a whole system. You will have to figure out how to get food and water. We have some others from your quaint little land on the board.

Or you can fly into SF, shop and go with the Green Tortoise Hostel (google).

Or you can fly into Reno and pick up a rental (make that reservation sooner rather than later) shop and pick up a pre-arranged rideshare from the Burning Man Rideshare board (open later) to split costs.

I know that a number of people from Barbie Death Village/BDC&WB will be meeting up at the Sands in Reno for rideshare. We have a special deal available for burners. Free shuttle from the airport, lots of open space to meet your ride. That would be a good place to start if you ask me.
