Made it to 2011 big burn, got stopped at the gate and refused at 2012. Looking forward to 2013.

My story is long and slightly interesting. Question and answer kind of thing, as always. I'm in Portland and I do SOAK as well. The 2012 SF Decomp was awesome.

Got a few projects and things I do at burns. I dig acting and performance art as a whole, so this is my shit, more or less.

According to the training they gave me when I joined Gate (training both in Oakland and on Playa), there is a mighty good reason when someone gets turned away.

"Well, I read the survival guide and saw that Dogs aren't allowed- but my old Labrador is a really good dog. He never barks and likes everyone. I take him camping everywhere. I assumed that rule was to keep mean nasty dogs out! Like pit bulls, rottweilers, and chows. So, I told Sparky to hide in the RV Shower stall. But as soon as the gate checker walked in the RV, Sparky jumped out and licked his face."
