Decompression prep.
Decompression prep.
We experience an array of feelings during exodus. Anybody have sweet setups in your default homes to top off this migration? 'bout to be my third burn, and I can't help dreaming of all those cherries on top of a grand burn.
....not sure if this fits in with other posts.

Re: Exodus prep.
I'm giving this a nudge over to Transportation. If what you're talking about is planning for Exodus (and not just dealing with decompression), that's a better fit. Regardless, they're topics that come up fairly regularly (if you do some digging).
Re: Exodus prep.
Well dealing with decompression does have a better fit for what I was going for, and I'd say that showers could be the most popular aspect of the return to the default world/homes. Just wondering about other ideas to make decomp. a little more blissful.

I've updated the subject to reflect Decompression to lessen the confusion, and moved the thread back to Q & A.

Re: Decompression prep.
First year the stallion and I drove back together. Reflection and quiet time together. Easy decompression that year. I had a tough time adjusting back into the emotional wasteland of my job, but I think that was actually healthy.
Second year I had to flay back due to same job and stallion drove. Very hard decompression for the both of us. Just basket cases.
Perhaps we are too enmeshed but I don't care.
*edit to correct quite quiet quit*

Go camping somewhere green, preferably next to some water. Helps ease the transition.

I plan to prepare for decompression by compressing.

Perhaps I was not as emotionally affected by the event as some people. I felt the same sort of malaise that I feel coming back from any vacation. Maybe even a bit less as I immediately started planning for the next year.
Breathlessly trying to describe it to people, (east coast here, so a vast majority have never heard of it or know very little) also seemed to help.
