About Buying Tickets From Others And The STEP Que.....

So ive seen some people locally selling their tickets at face value and im interested but im worried that they may have already sold them back into the STEP que while holding the physical ticket and trying to make additional profit from selling that? Or is that not possible?

Ive been wondering if thats a possibility and so ive been holding out for the step que but it ends in a couple weeks and im worried i might miss out.


So yah any help or info is greatly appreciated!

Hello there! Worry not: It's simply not possible to sell a physical ticket into STEP. STEP tickets are Will Call only. People with hard tickets cannot sell them into STEP and then to you.

With physical tickets, the chief dangers are scalped tickets (which are eligible to be invalidated, so don't pay inflated prices!) or fakes. Real tickets are kind of elegant looking, with some shiny holographic parts (which should not flake off) and a very fine perforation where the stub will eventually be torn off. Many, many people have posted pictures of them online, look around and you'll see. They are typically stapled to a packing slip when they first arrive, anyway, in a very plain envelope with a hard copy of the Survival Guide and (usually) an individually wrapped Fireball candy . . . although I have heard of Lemonheads being used too.
