Join us on Wednesday July 17th for the Newbie Picnic! Heading to Burning Man for the first time this year? Curious about it and want to know more? Been a few times and want to meet newbies and other community members? Been a bunch and want to help answer questions and meet new burners? Bring potluck snacks to share, an open mind, your questions, and something to sit on if you like! We’ll be gathering in the South end of Trinity Bellwoods Park starting at 6 p.m. We’ve got folks lined up to talk to you about some great topics – packing lists, shopping, resources, arrrival, volunteering on playa, rangers, sex and drugs, newbie perspectives, Toronto art projects, DPW/leave no trace, exodus, and Mooseman info. Spread the word, it’s going to be great! Hope to see you there.

We will be meeting at the picnic tables near the entrance off Queen St West.
