I got back to camp on either Friday or Saturday night and found a bookmark-style flyer (same size, heavier stock paper) stuck in my car window for an event called Motion Notion, taking place next July. If any of the rest of you got one of these, and happened to hang onto it (I think I still have mine), MAIL IT TO THE ORG. And send feedback to katalyst (at) katalystevents (dot) com telling them EXACTLY what you think of this maneuver.

I got one too and thought that was extremely distasteful... I expect that shit on the streets of SF, not on the streets of BRC.

I will mail mine to the ORG.

Uh oh, I don't know these people but I know of the festival, up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I'm sure they meant no harm by it and if you email them to tell them it's not okay, they wouldn't do it again. They are nice people from what I've experienced and probably just didn't realize the wrongness of what they did.

I would be equally annoyed at getting the flyer as well.

I did get email back from them today; they said they didn't feel they did anything wrong, but they won't be doing it again next year.
