Lovely couple of an experienced burner and a virgin

Post by Ann2013 » Sat Jul 27, 2013 12:06 pm

We finally could make to the playa! Yay! We're a couple, Anton and Anastasia, who is always up for exciting new and remarkable old things. We love to participate. Anastasia, who is the BM virgin, loves to prepare meals and cook desserts (we even have our own food and water to share). Anton, one year old burner, is a handyman, who also can repair stuff from tents to math equations. We also don't forget to volunteer in some projects on the playa. We're have some previous experience with rough and extreme conditions, hot and cold, but this is the kinda special since Anastasia is a little bit pregnant.

We're actively looking for a camp to join, writing to people, but if you know some, please recommend.

Hello Anton and Anastasia, I am a second time burner (Polka Dot Lola). We ran a theme camp in 2011. That camp was "The Black Rock Epitaph" It had 5 members. We ranged in age from 22 to 55. We had a fabulous time!!

My husband (Tango) is a virgin Burner.

This year we are doing something different to follow the theme of Cargo Cult. Our camp is The Gods' Vending Inc.
We were given a larger camp area than requested. So we would LOVE to invite a couple of Burners to join us. We have room for an extra vehicle and a large tent or small trailer.

About our camp: Our Cargo Cult style vending machine (a functioning machine built from wood and bamboo) Is the main focus of the camp. It will be vending objects of desire to all who choose to chant a short prayer to the Gods.
As Cargo Cult was a big thing on South Sea Islands we also have a shade shelter stocked with ukuleles just for fun.

A day at our camp would go something like this:
Morning- relax, go out and explore the city, a time for independent adventures.
Afternoon- Take turns being at camp to run the vending machine. When we run out of stock for the day or just want to go and do something else we hang an "OUT OF ORDER" sign on the machine. No stress.
Evening- Happy hour, dinner, and getting ready to go out for night time adventures on the playa and at other camps.

We do not use generators. We have solar panels to keep our fridge running, solar lighting and propane for cooking.
We have a tiny trailer 13' long and a 10' by 10' shade shelter that is a common area.

We speak English, French, and a bit of Spanish.

So if you would like to join our camp please send me a message.
xo, Polka Dot Lola (Lorraine Forster)

Welcome to ePlaya, home to sometimes useful information from sometimes seemingly friendly persons! Although I am not a doctor, and early trimesters are chiller, suggest that anyone expecting familiarize themselves with the health care facilities in center camp, at 9 and at 3. Consult your professional health care provider on nutrition and electrolyte balance at whatever trimester you are. Some moms have nausea T1. If you vomit, you are losing electrolytes and risk dehydration. Suggest anyone with special potential health care needs meet the Black Rock City rangers on camp setup, they are there for you! Most people lose appetite at the event. An experienced burner myself, I had to avail myself of medical to get electrolytes rebalanced.

You will have fun telling that child someday where they were with you!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
