BMIR: Streaming Now!

In a recent staff meeting, Bobzilla gave a bit of a rundown for BMIR that I thought were worth relaying here.

First up, they're streaming now. And if you've got a smartphone type device, that means you can listen to BMIR on most of your drive to the playa. Not only a fun way to build up to your arrival in Black Rock City, but a great way to be up on all the latest info (announcements, PSA, whatnot).

They plan to start broadcasting live from the playa starting sometime on Wednesday 8/21, and run through Exodus. Once you get past Gerlach you'll likely lose cell signal for fancy devices, but you should then be able to pick 'em up at 94.5FM.

If you're involved in a project or team that's feeding them information, please make sure to designate a single point of contact to interact with their crew. They've had some snafus in the past with somebody coming in with info for an announcement, and then shortly after the announcement's made somebody else comes in with corrections and changes. If you've got things sorted on your end, it makes things much easier for everyone.
