Folks,

We are getting close to heading back out to the playa. If you have any questions about your Mutant Vehicle, the DMV Licensing Process, problems, concerns, pretty much anything related to your vehicle, please email us at the DMV ([email protected]) directly. While we try to monitor this and other venues of discussion regarding Mutant Vehicles, the best way to get direct info is...well, asking us directly.

Most of the DMV Team will be heading to the playa in a week or so, but some of us will be holding out until for a bit longer to answer of your last-minute DMV questions.

Are the requirments as strict for night licencing a disabled van?

We can do a pretty good crown of lights around the roof.

She really needs the van to get around and it would be a shame if she can't see the playa at night, or go to the burns.

No, there is no radical illumination or mutation/decoration requirement for disabled vehicles. Standard vehicle lighting is acceptable.
