Campground in Northern Cali for Pacific NW peeps..

Coming from Portland, OR....I've always stayed at Eaglesnest. Great place, but hoping to get some more miles in before calling it a night and want a shorter trip for the day arriving to the burn. Any recommendations on a place to camp in that area?
