Has anyone used a ATT air-card on the playa? I might need to do some work and it would be nice if I knew how well these work for internet access.

I've only ever heard of Verizon working on Playa and then you have to head out to the trash fence to even get it.
Best bet is to hunt for wifi.
If you are feeling thrifty and/or spendy you could buy one of these, point it at center camp(ish) and hope for the best.
