Without our Burning Man RV at the last moment

Post by guyshalem » Sat Aug 24, 2013 9:10 am

Dear burners,

I am going to Burning man for the first time this year, with my partner who is an true burner for many years. I am so excited to experience this wonderful city he is talking about so highly with passion in his eyes. I moved here from Israel two months ago to be with him after a long time of a long distance relationship and we are got married. He wanted to have our honeymoon trip at Burning Man and I immediately agreed, because he never stop talking about BM. But this morning we woke up for bad news. our RV mate called and said that there is a problem, he had an excitant and he CAN'T go.

We are here with all of the costumes that I sew, all the gifts and led lights we bought and prepared for a month, asking from you burners for some help at the last moment. Do you have an empty space at your RV for 2?

Please let us know asap so we can still make it happen.
Thank you

If you are holding out for an RV, you may miss the burn. I suggest you hit a store and get a tent and rebar and perhaps the makings of a monkey hut for shade. Do not let the loss of your ride/sleeping quarters stop you from making the trip. Rent a car. It sounds like you have everything else you need so these should be a small cost in comparison to not going.

The other option is to offer your tickets for sale, take the money and rent a hotel room in reno and party like you are on the playa.
In dust we trust.
