my names Janice and Im from Albuquerque,New Mexico and ive always wanted to attend BM hopefully this year I can actually make my dream come true. I would love to get to meet burners who are more experienced and can kinda guide me into what I need to be aware of while at the festival or just helpfull tips.

I'm a first time burner in 2014 also, so I cannot offer any tips from experience; however, I do recommend that you read everything you can find - the survival guide on the main site, various threads on every topic imaginable here, and any other sites you come across on the interwebs.

I've found folks to be very helpful here on ePlaya, and it has actually been a lot of fun reading, learning and planning for the upcoming sojourn to the desert.
