I know I haven't been around here a lot for a while. And I know that diane o'thirst has been around even less...but I've known her since long before I ever got dusty, and we're in contact on the Bookfaces, and that's why I am delurking tonight.

I just got hit with a massive bombshell.
My trailer, with everything in it, has been stolen. It was parked at a property off River Road in Eugene.
This trailer has a couple pieces of furniture, my camp stove, my carousel horse and two Clive Barker original artworks in it, along with numerous keepsakes and books.
Be on the look out for this trailer and also the carousel horse.
This happened in the past week.

Three of my kids and a grandkid are on alert here in Salem for that trailer.. Of the five of us, three do Craig's List.. Will on the lookout for the horse..

It's found. And it's been emptied. Not far from where it was taken. Sheriffs have been called and are on their way.

Man, I'm so sorry to hear it.. and thanks for the update. That carousel horse is hopefully distinctive enough that it'll be easy to track if the thieves try to sell or pawn it. Fingers crossed!

Great news!
I visited my trailer this morning to take stock, opened a cupboard…and there were my Clive Barker drawings, safe and overlooked. So scared that I'd lost them, after Clive entrusted me with them.
I'm going to send them back to Clive. I'm still transitioning from homelessness, and my situation is still precarious. They'll be safer with him. I don't want to risk losing them again.
