Howdy howdy burner fellows!!!
Hey all!!! I'm OmegaRed, or Chow-Chow, or PIZZA, or Tommy P-Funk... It just depends on what hat I decide to wear when I wake up on a burn morning (or afternoon). Just got bored camping out in the tickets page so I decided to come play on the rest of the site. I've been camped out in the tickets forum for about 3 continuous weeks looking for a ticket. Veteran of several regional burns but have never made it to the playa... it's been a dream of mine for about 10 years. Long story short whenever I try to make it to Burning Man something terrible happens to me that sends my life into a tail-spin for 9 months (car accident, broken leg, divorce, etc.) Hoping to break the curse this year!!! Hope to see you on the playa!!! Look for the guy with a gallon jug of riot punch (Everclear and Kool Aid) hugging strangers and challenging them to a cartwheel contest (I'm actually terrible at cartwheels but it's fun.)

Welcome to eplaya! I like your swagger, OmegaRed.
It might be a bit late to join the STEP, but it couldn't hurt. Don't forget about the OMG sale, as well. It's also fun to contact local burners - in addition to the big regional events, many areas have monthly or weekly meet-ups. They're fun, you can make some friends, and maybe even score connections to a ticket.
Good luck.

Joined STEP, but not until like 6 hours after it opened... critical computer failure that had me wanting to kick the POS out the window. I've been haunting the tickets page ever since. I AM THE PHANTOM OF the ePLAYA tickets forum!!! Trying every avenue I can think of for a ticket. Hoping things start moving a little more when the date gets closer.
