Hi everyone!
My partner and I are heading to BRC for the first time this year. We are part of the "Membranes of Marrakesh," a drum-gifting bit of sonic craziness that was accepted into this year's Souk. SOOOO not only is it our first year at BM, but we're also hyper-participating and VERY excited. We're driving up to NV from New Orleans with stops in San Antonio and Phoenix -- would LOVE to start our trip off with the "Caravansary" theme by finding a car or two to caravan with and follow up from any point on our drive.
We've been reading everything we can get our hands on for the past couple months, and at this point we're just prepping our synapses for the experience because no matter how much we read, I imagine it's just something you need to experience to "get it".
Looking forward to making this a tradition alongside every one of you,
Dhani

Caravanning to the burn can be pretty fun...until someone starts to do the playa shuffle. And then I just want to SCREAM. I hosted some staging at my house last year for quite a few early arrivals headed up. It got to be pretty damn funny watching the chaos
Sounds like a great plan. Leave yourself plenty of time for traveling in case of the "oh nos"
Have fun and remember "playa time" pretty much starts the day you leave your house.

I went and talked to the neighbors because we had quite a few extra vehicles parked in the street. They were cool but probably glad when we left. Tinkermoms trailer/rig was 30+ feet! Graidawg was harassing the fed ex guy with a bullhorn. MDF was cooking bacon like a badass...
Much fun was had
