link to check for CXLED tickets??!
link to check for CXLED tickets??!
Where is the link that was suppose to be posted for cxled tickets. I need to buy some tickets but don't want to get stuck buying a ticket that has been cxled. Does anybody know when this list will be up or if it's up already?

They haven't been posted yet. Trilo will post them here as he hears of them, and will update as needed. Remember, they've barely started sending out tickets--there hasn't been much time to find ticket abusers.

Big huge caveat to that list: even when it's posted, it's incomplete, and it changes way faster than they update it. Read the "Scalpers & Scammers" link in my sig, and don't rely on the list as your only guide.karmasevo wrote:Where is the link that was suppose to be posted for cxled tickets. ok I read the link in your sig. I guess my question is this. I can't find any locally. I found a guy in nevada that says he has two tickets and will send me pictures today. My plan is to paypal him the money and then have him send them to me. If I see the pictures and they look legit am I cool to buy? I just don't want to buy them and then for some reason, in a week or two a list comes out saying these tickets were cxled for some reason. He is selling them at face value. Really wish there was a better way to check these. Please advise as I'm trying to buy them today so i dont miss out. Thanks!!!

2 people I know (not a friend-of-a-friend thing) and a 3rd person we hadn't met got ripped off by a guy here in Reno/Sparks last year saying he had tickets and took PayPal money and guess what...no one received tickets! Took us a while to connect that the 2 friends were dealing with the same guy, and he eventually refunded (most of) their monies only they worked together to piece together the guy's real name and location, and threatened to contact the police. Hate to say it, but that's what this guy in Nevada sounds like to me...

Be very, very, cautious. There are plenty of people right here in the Reno area that are looking for tickets. It would be extremely easy for me to find someone local, today, with cash to buy a ticket. I can't see someone going through the hassle of offering to mail a ticket unless they don't actually have it.karmasevo wrote: ok I read the link in your sig. I guess my question is this. Accepting paypal is a generally a good sign. Western Union or other forms of payment are not.
If you're dealing with a "True Burner", ask for a reference. Mebbe even friend them on Facebook and check them out.
I'd offer to the seller that I have a local friend that may be willing to do the deal face to face. *Any* excuse to avoid this by your seller indicates a scam.

See this post regarding scammers and scalpers. When the voided tickets list is published, I'll include that info in a reply in that thread. It will be updated as the list is updated, as we've done in past years.
