Accomodations for 1 or 2 in RV at BRC

Hello fellow Burners

We are looking for one more person to share our little Caravan for Burning man 2014 event taking place August 23-Sept 2nd.

Getting there: On Aug 23rd we meet in the San Francisco/ Oakland / Bayarea then drive into BRC picking up the weeks supplies ( groceries, bikes and etc) along the way. We then get to the opening gate on Sunday afternoon.
Once you agree a security deposit is required by Aug 1st and the total amount due by Aug 15th.

The RV Space Comes with: Kitchen-fridge ( with a freezer), some storage, stovetop , kitchen table Bathroom -functioning toilet and sink, shower storage. We don't use the shower to preserve water while on the Playa.
Sleeping space - Would be the sleep cabin above the drivers seat. This is pretty spacious ( like a king bed size) and would be shared. I don't snore, sometimes sleep during the day (after parting late) and always stick to my side of the cabin. The other option is the foldout sofa below.


The camp: We are part of a larger camp mostly with folks from Southern California, Alberta Canada and the East coast area. Ages range from 20 & up. Some of us are veterans to BM others will be newbies folks are cool, laid back. Currently there are no kids in our camp.
A mix of carnivores and vegans, last year we created a central kitchen in the middle of our camp for sharing food and BBQ's, a mini bar thats free to all citizens of BRC (when it's open) and a shaded outdoor living room area where we drink, eat, nap, share stories and just chill.
We come and go as we like. Sometimes solo, sometimes with a group or with new friends.
Overall theres common respect for one anothers stuff, privacy and we treat one another like grown ups.

RVmates: Two guys (couple) and Me
J - Usually does all the driving, is a creative overlord, has allot of clothes to borrow (Wash.DC)
B- Amazing cook, Agricultual design Shaman and knows everything about BRC (Wash.DC)
K- The girl in the gang, easygoing, runs around the Playa looking for adventure. ( NYC)

Who we are looking for.
No Pref :Male or Female both welcome
LGBT Friendly.
No Drama: Imagine that you are looking for roommates - but for a week -and that you will be on a long drive, shopping and sharing really tight apartment. If this does not appeal to you or you know that it will drive you crazy. Then this is not the right match for you.
We don't bring the party home (RV). Meaning we don't do drugs, drink heavily and bring strangers in the RV. Outside of the RV you are totally free to do what you like, if you know Burning man there are lots of camps where you can find these, but for the safety and comfort of all involved we keep it that way.

Cleanliness: In our small space we try to keep things as clean and organized as possible. The dust will get everywhere but clean up after yourself in the main areas makes a world of difference.


***Breakdown of costs RV***
+ Part of RV Rental for the week
(a portion of this is the security deposit - when we return the RV clean we get back)
+ Shared Gas, Food, supplies and etc
+ Hotel:One nights stay in a local hotel on the way back to California.
( trust me this will be the best shower ever)
+ Drop of at your Airport ( SFO or OAK)
