Hi Vivian...there is Air Playa Info booth near baggage claim at the Reno Airport staffed by awesome Burner volunteers. They can help you get oriented, assist in finding you a ride out to the event if you need one.
Also post on the Rideshare link (http://rideshare.burningman.com/ridesha ... -man-2014/) to seek assistance in transporting gear.
You're cramming a lot into the short time you'll be at the event, but in the long run you'll have a fantastic experience. Do your planning, make your contacts, do the hard work, smile and thank everyone that wants to help you and it will pay off.

Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

Hi Vivian!
If you can travel a little, Green Tortoise (google it) could take you from SF, and include a bike.
Certain Amtrak trains allow decent baggage + bikes too, maybe you could take a train North.
Welcome!
