I'm in San Francisco Downtown, carrying a 25 kg suitcase and a little bag.
Since I'm only 5foot'1 I promise I don't need much space
Of course I pitch in gas money.

You should go to sfbay.craigslist.org and post a request/search in rides and tickets sections. Facebook groups. rideshare.burningman.com. There are not too many people in ePlaya who are still planning to go.

or you can take the train to Reno and look there. There are rideshares from the airport and from... Savemart?... where people are actively looking for passengers.

Just to clarify, the Save Mart fishy mentioned is on Keystone Ave between 4th St and I80 freeway. About one and a half miles or so west of the Amtrak station. Save Mart is closer to the train station than the airport.
