The 2004 Ka Pilina Decompression in Honolulu

Ka Pilina is proud to announce our 2004 Decompression on Oahu at Anna Bannana's on Saturday November 6th, starting at 8pm. Meet up with burners you saw on the playa, and ones you didn't, here in Honolulu. Not sure what this Burning Man thing is all about and want to know more? This is your best chance to get a good glimpse of the Burning Man experience while it is fresh from the playa. Admission will be $10, or $5 if you perform, volunteer, or Participate (as easy as coming in "playa attire"). This event is 21 and up, sorry folks but the venue is a bar.

There will be 3-4 Djs, hopefully a headlining band, fire spinners, drummers, video projections of home-made Burning Man images and video, playa newspapers and memorabilia, a suspension (the piercing thing), some "propane art", and you. We have the upstairs and the back courtyard and we need volunteers, performers, and Participants to flesh out the evening. We are look for any of you to Participate and perform be it spoken word, instrumental music, any type of performance art, or perhaps an installation or some interactive element.
