Pre-registration today, am I registered?

I got there on the minute (noon pst), clicked the register link, then the "I'm already registered with a burner profile" link
It spun for quite a while (20 minutes?), now when I load the page the link to pre-register is gone, but there's no mention if I'm registered.

Is there supposed to be, or just that the link is gone, does that mean that I'm pre-registered? I've not given any payment info or any such.

You should be able to sign in to your profile (once the site is operational again), and there should be somewhere that tells you if you are registered for a particular sale. The problem is that it is crashing with every new page load. This is a really bad indicator for what is to come next week :p

You would not give payment information until the ticket sale next week.

The wordpress engine servers are being hammered pretty hard right now, which makes you getting confirmation (logging back in and seeing that everything's hunky dory, or receiving an email) tricky. Right now it's a massive clamor of everyone trying to register simultaneously, and WP's servers aren't good at that many people hitting them all at once. That spike should drop pretty significantly in the next hour or so.

I'd recommend setting yourself a reminder to check back in a a few hours. No need to stress, people can register at ANY TIME between now and noon PST on Saturday.

WHEN you register, IS there another step, like saying how many tickets or that you have a vehicle, or are there just the two "Pre-register" and "I already have a profile" links?

I can get the page loaded, and every link I do have on that page, and there's no mention of being registered for anything, but if that's all there is to it...

No. That stuff is all part of the ticket sale, not pre-registration.
