Zerodrome wants YOU!

Zerodrome is a new camp dedicated to:
- Exploring the construction of Mutant Vehicles (maker network)
- Dramoetry and performance Speechz
- Mutant creations for terminally-ill children

We would like to hear from anyone interested in being part of our camp and projects.

Unlike most camps, we actually want a couple of RV rigs, as long as they are large toy haulers willing to haul some things in and some things out.

Read our camp overview and let us know what you can offer to help build the camp and fulfill our missions. Whoever can do the most wins. We'll review applicants over the next week or so and make our decision.

Bonus points for being geographically located in North Bay (San Francisco) area to Sacramento zone. Other bonus points for owning and bringing certain gear...sound...led...quonset hut...kitchen...costco or better tentish thing...chill space...just go to the site and take a look.

Mutant Vehicle Owners: Did you pull off an amazing mechanical or electronic hack you'd like to talk about? We'll invite you to drive to Geek Street to gush geekingly to mecha-geeks about your geeky project. Tell and show and tell and show some more. We'll have an overhead projector on the podium to assist your geekinations. Have a breakthrough on sourcing a good deal on a part? Performance artists: Even if you can't camp with us, if you are a dramatic spoken word poet or have a killer speech about something interesting, we'd like to know more about this passionate performance you long to share on our empathetic stage.

Mutant Vehicle makers are usually proud of their creations. Zerodrome invites vehicle makers to give a talk about the materials and techniques used to build that awesome creation.

Go ahead reply here...let us know who you are, what you made, and what interesting aspects you'd like to give a speech about.

Our camp isn't restricted to mutant makers...that is only one of our interests. Our camp is about information exchange and developing interactivity...about a certain style we are inventing.

We are offer a chance to be part of something new, in on the ground floor in creating a new style of self-sufficient camp. There is plenty of room for new members to contribute to new directions. Some of us are providing a core, like a tree that others can add ornaments to.

Basically, like any good camp, we are expanding on what Burning Man is about and what attracts many people to Burning Man...trying to add value where we can.

We still have space for tent and RV members, and really need some more volunteers to help set up the camp before the event.

Join our collective and reach a higher level of Burning Man actualization through your involvement in making and helping spread the word of how makers make what they make.

Hi there! My friends and i have been burning since 2013, but the camp we hung with the last two years is not coming. Are you interested or still have space for six people from Minnesota? We are also Russian, but have lived in the U.S. Forever. We can bring some fun Russian treats to share, and can contribute in any other way required! Three men, three women coming. Zerodrome welcomes three camp members from Finland. These girls are going to run the camp's spoken word and poetry slam sessions.
