Gerlach Water Sales - updated 2015 Hours Aug 24 - Sep 2

The posted hours for Gerlach GID selling water were Open Aug 19-22, 9am-5pm; Aug 23-26, 8am-midnight; Aug 27-28, 9am-5pm.

Gerlach General Improvement District

The Gerlach GID (the local governing body of Gerlach) sells fantastic drinking water, to fill up RVs and water containers of any size. It’s the ideal place to buy water, since you don’t have to haul it all the way to Gerlach.

Water Sale Revenue: Supports the town of Gerlach and pays for the new water treatment plant.

Location: 330 Short Drive, Gerlach – 775-557-2601 – map

The station is located in front of the town’s Community Center. Look out for directional signs just as you enter town on Main Street.

Water Rates:

50 cents per gallon – 1 to 100 gallons
45 cents per gallon – 100 to 200 gallons
40 cents per gallon – 200 gallons or more

Full reusable containers of water are available for sale in 6, 7 and 15-gallon size.

** Cash only, but ATM is onsite.

Hours for 2015:

Aug 24-26 9am-5pm
Aug 27 9am-6pm
Aug 28-30 8am-12am
Aug 31-Sep 1 9am-8pm
Sep 2 9am-5pm
