Well that is... impressively...bad. I hadn't heard this perspective before. I lived in Holland in the mid 90s and studied Dutch with immigrants fleeing the first gulf war. My feeling is that this video must show a relatively small part of the immigrant population. Most people are mostly good most of the time.... I really do believe that. Hm....

I am sorry, but that video rings of contrived propaganda. The whole story fits too neatly into an "us vs them" narrative archetype.

Humans think in terms of "us vs them" but yes.... I agree. But I even listen to the insane ravings of Scientologists and Anti-Vaxxers... Crazy people on the street screaming the sky is falling and that it's the beginning of WW3 because, well, its is important to open your mind. I was raised to keep a closed mind about other perspectives because clearly, everyone else is wrong and I'm the only right one! I've come to learn that there are shades of right and wrong. If I only consider this person to be a propaganda spewing hate machine then I'll discount the feelings of fear that she and her cadre are trying to spread. It's important to understand what makes them tick.

If it's contrived propaganda, they did a really good job and she's totally convincing . . . not an actress.

She sounds to me like she has a point of view that she is trying to convince you of. Ergo, her story is questionable. Her "facts" fit too neatly into her point of view, and none of it is verified from a second source. It's an Internet video feining to be a local newscast. Notice too that there is no station ID.
