Re: Brand New Burner,,,,
I'm giving this a nudge to Art & Performance, since it sounds as if BunnyBoy is looking for a venue where he can read his poetry to children at the 2016 event. The Connect With Burners forum is intended more for organizing informal meetups and get-togethers off the playa.
You have a few options. If you or your campmates are unwilling/unable to build and bring some kind of stage or space where you can host your own event, then I'd suggest keeping your eyes open for the various camps that will be building stages or bringing spaces where you could have such an event. You may also want to reach out to organizers of kids' camps (Kidsville comes to mind, though there may be others out there) to see if they already have such a space and are seeking performers.
It's still fairly early in the season (the placement questionnaire doesn't close until next week), so not too many camps have started posting about their plans. Check back here, and also stay tuned for a partial list of theme camps that will be published on the main site in the next couple months - it typically includes hundreds of listings and will give you some great leads for finding camps you might connect with. Good luck!
