Greetings from Istanbul / Turkey

Post by sedas » Sun Jul 10, 2016 2:39 pm

Hi everyone,

Seda from Istanbul. Me, my husband and couple friends heading to Burning man for the first time. 3 of us from Turkey and one of our friend from Hungary. For now we got our tickets, arrange flight and rent RV. It's time to finish all preparation, arrange the bikes and gifts ^_^.
Still can't believe that we are making it.
Hope to see you soon
Hugs from Istanbul :)

Welcome Sedas. I'm very excited for you. I'm sure your first trip to Burning Man will be amazing for you.
Take a few minutes to read some of the preparation links in my signature below.
See you on the playa! :D

Welcome!

Burningman has groups all over the world http://regionals.burningman.org/regionals/. They haven't figured out how to divide Turkey between Europe and Asia. But maybe you could start a Turkey regional? Then get the regional search to include you in both Europe and Asia! Take a look/ask on Facebook for other Turks and there are many Turks around the world who may be burners.

ePlaya has deep information which you can search by Google with site:eplayaburningman.com. If that doesn't answer, just ask us.

The pinned post at the top of this forum is a great place to start, then the branches of the burningman.org website have even more.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.
