I stumbled across a song circle one afternoon several years ago, and it was a blast. Does anyone know of a camp hosting one this year?
I don't have the space or energy to organize one this year. Maybe next year.
Anyone hosting a song circle?

I'm not certain what a song circle is, but Elliot's bike repair is hosting a "Singing for Scaredy Cats" workshop.
When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

Well, not a circle, but I've seen hundreds singing along to a 10 year running playa famous Beatles night at Club Neu Verboten Thursday
9:30 pm - 1 am .... look for the star tent at 8:45 and Esplanade.
It's wild like this but with Beatles music that 3 (maybe 4!) generations are listening to, probably as you read this:

Re: Anyone hosting a song circle?
Can you elaborate what you mean by song circle? Just a bunch of people singing songs, sitting happily in a circle? Or song "rounds" (where one group starts, then another, and so on, with a well known song) ? Or teaching music of some sort? Or.... and what type of music did you hear that you enjoyed? And what time of day was it held?LittleJack wrote:I stumbled across a song circle one afternoon several years ago, and it was a blast. Does anyone know of a camp hosting one this year?
We'd be happy to hear more about your suggestion and make it part of our Storytelling Camp near 5:45 and D .... or get something going at some point at our playa installation of "Axis Mundi" --
Looking forward to your comments
