Been away for a few years... Hello all!

My name is Martiena.
I'm from Ontario, Canada.
My first burn was in 2011. So my 6 th this year, 2016.
I'm a Temple Guardian, camped with them last year...This year I'm camping with Playa Info and am
Volunteering with them for the 4 th year. You might see me biking around as an Ambassador, giving and collecting info to pass on to other burners!
My life has changed a great deal since my first burn.
Burning Man has helped me in more ways I could ever begin to explain, but I don't need to because you burners
know what I mean! Info I've read on these pages has been so important in understanding many things that I would never have learned elsewhere! LOL :oops:

Hello and welcome back, Martiena!

And thanks for all you do out there. Keeping an eye on the temple and its many visitors can be more work than it seems, and Playa Info is an absolutely unsung hero's job. And this year is going to be BIG! I love the idea of the local wifi network so people can use their smarty devices to look through the database... and I love the secure dropbox. I'm hoping there are even more happy playa reunions this year.

It is going to be amazing at Playa Info this year! You are right, the people that do all the heavy
lifting are unsung heroes... Countless work hours have been dedicated to the database, it will be so much easier for
burners to find their lost stuff! Wonderful team at Playa Info :)

Welcome again to eplaya. My campmate also works at Playa Info. She is also from Canada. (Abba Zabba). Come by our place and say hi. Have a shot of weird liquor. 5:25 on H. We're in the colorful shade structure.
