Leaving the playa mid-week.... options?

Hello lovers!

I need to leave the playa midweek, Wednesday night or Thursday morning... I noticed burner express shuttles leaving the playa are only available starting on Friday... what are my options for getting back to Reno mid-week? No doubt I can hitch a ride with anyone heading out, but are there regular shuttles to Reno from the playa that I could hitch a ride on? Does anyone have any advise? I'd need to bring nearly nothing with me, just a suitcase, as my other supplies return with my camp.

Burner xpress will take you out any time of the week.

just come out to the airport village at the bitter end of 5:00 the day before. during cocktail hour...

jameskirk, for real? I had wondered why the Burner Express would truck on out to the playa and leave empty if there were interested riders. I too need to leave mid-week for Reno airport and it's been tricky to figure this one out. I figured I'd just make magic happen when I got to BRC but it would be a load off my mind if I knew there was a reliable preexisting alternative that didn't involve mandatory sexual favors to members of the DPW who happened to be running into town for supplies.
