Question: Alcohol Permit, do we need one
Hiyall-thinking of starting a new camp next year. I know food permits are a thing, but are booooooze permits?

I'm giving this a nudge over to Food & Drink, since that's a better fit.
You don't need to have a permit in order to run a playa bar, but as Ratty hinted depending on what you're serving there may be food permit implications. if you stick to shelf-stable mixers (bottled cranberry juice and OJ instead of frozen or stuff that requires refrigeration), you won't need it unless the camp you're starting is going to be a big operation (if you'll be preparing food for 125 or more people, a permit is required). All the food permit stuff can be found here.
What you should do is spend some time surfing around the Food & Drink board, as there are a few different threads that talk about best practices for running a playa bar. Good luck!
