I suddenly remember
being molested
by an unruly horde of butterflies.

Fluttering mercilessly,
tickling me endlessly.

I remember
seeing my hot breath in the cold air
as I escaped the cave
and catching my breath,
then jumping back in.

Some things
you can’t just do once.
