The Playa Choir, in its 14th year on playa, seeks all singers, choristers and musicians to participate in our non-dogmatic, spirit-driven, playa-style Sunday morning services. We sing, we toast, we laugh and cry, we pray while tapping, and commune with champagne and granola bars, but mostly we sing dusty Burners home with songs of love while encouraging all to make life a brilliant and authentic work of art.

Hey you people of the dust. The Playa Choir is still looking for more singers, choristers, and musicians to make our annual gift to the Playa, but we especially are in need of another couple of people who can put together and run sound and amplification equipment. If that is you, come add your talents to this raucous and meaningful endeavor!

We have our sound people rounded up, but Playa Choir still specifically needs a bass player. If that is you, pm me. And of course we want all singers, choristers, and musicians who have an interest to join us. We also still have a few camp spots available.

Camp With The Choir!
We are still welcoming Singers and Musicians in Camp, and have a limited number of Basic and Basic+ camp sites available. These will be fulfilled first-come, first-served. (Carport shaded campsites are sold out). The July 31 deadline is approaching fast, so don’t wait! Hi Matthew. Yes. We are placed at the intersection of Dance and Rod's Road, which is at about 7:15 on the Rod's Road clock face. Look for a large 5/8's 44' Dome right on the intersection. Our rehearsals, which a lot of passersby like to attend, are from 11:00 to 1:00 on Wednesday through Saturday. On Sunday after the burn, we perform a short sunrise service at the temple, and then a full service at 11:00 AM in our performance dome. Be ready for a non-religious, but genuinely spiritual, uplifting at the end of the burn as a precedent to the Temple burn that night.
