Off chance somebody is watching the Michigan v Florida game, on Sept 2
I'm wondering if there is anybody who is a big NCAA football fan, who also happens to somehow have access to a satellite TV, who ALSO happens to be planning on watching the Michigan v Florida game on the afternoon of Sept 2nd?
Ridiculous long shot I realize, but I'm a pretty big Michigan fan, so thought it was worth while checking about. If you are planning on watching this and are willing to share your TV, I would love a private message with your details. Thanks in advance.
Last time I asked this question (2012) I received a lot of "hate mail" regarding this request from the community. So I look forward to receiving it again, it was pretty awesome, lol

Perhaps the reason you got negative response is the difference between YOUR post (I have a need, fill it for me) and the post of the guy I tried to link to above (I have a need, I'm bringing the things I need to fulfill that need and would like to share with others).
That is the definition of radical Self-Reliance. Your post is no different than the countless other ticket begs and "seeking camp with showers and a meal plan" posts which clog up this forum.
I have no problem with your desire to watch a Default World event while at the Burn. But you should know enough (assuming you've been burning since at least 2012) that ePlaya and Burning Man are not places to come to have YOUR NEEDS met by other people with more initiative and commitment than you.
Good luck on your quest. As far as I can tell, the only things you are missing are: a TV, internet or satellite, a generator of some kind, shade, and some cold beer.

Jadeddog, "Harmonic Convergence" camp is run by a fellow Wolverine (GO BLUE!) named Puma. He hosts a College Football Saturday every year (public event since 2013) with 2 satellite TVs. Last year Harmonic was at 5&E. He usually has a FB event set up so folks can get info. Look there or in the WWW when you get on playa.jadeddog wrote:I'm wondering if there is anybody who is a big NCAA football fan, who also happens to somehow have access to a satellite TV, who ALSO happens to be planning on watching the Michigan v Florida game on the afternoon of Sept 2nd?

Awesome. UM alum here. Will make an effort to attend.

Backup Plan: Sattelite Radio. Sirius XM gets fine coverage on playa (7 hours of Yacht Rock and Classic Rewind during Exodus) and often has a free-preview event on Labor Day weekend. From another road trip, I know they manage to cover every BCS AQ school, most of the Group of 5 and usually the HCBU game-of-the-week.
