BORG2 PRESENTS: THE FLYING PIG SEX DISASTER FUNDRAISER

Spare changing our way to a quarter-million dollars to fund a different kind of art at Burning Man? When pigs fly, they told us. And so they will! On Saturday, Feb. 5, at the Shipyard in Berkeley, the pigs will fly. TWO pigs, joined in holy airborne matrimony, doing things that can only be seen on Cinemax, in the wee hours.

These are monogamous, non-polyamorous, non-sexual adventuring pigs. When they have sex, there are only two of them, and the same two every time. They are reasonable pigs. It is a shame we have to burn them. But we will, and when we do, money will spill out of their carcasses and cascade down onto a special offering plate, creating a delightful childlike music of sorts. The money will be covered in bacon fats, so we expect to do a little cleaning afterwards.

Bring your change and stuff the pigs! We're asking everyone to bring whatever spare change they have laying around. We already have a $1,000 donation, FIFTY POUNDS of change to go into the pigs, and, ultimately, come falling back out.

And if that's not enough...

LIVE MUSIC

* The moderately famous TANGELRS will set 'em up and knock 'em down, beginning with square dance lessons for all us city folk who don't know shinola from shinola.

* The Saddle-ites, featuring America's hillbilly sweetheart, Cari Lee, will break yer achey hearts.

GAMES

* The Hyperwhiskey Wheel of Terrer will taunt and annoy you, and perhaps give you a gift of some kind. Or just a sore head.

* Talk to the Pig interactive sound installation. Ask the pig a question and receive a very different sort of advice.

BOOZE

The bar will be stocked and the drinks will be flowing.

Coin stuffing starts around 9 PM and the whole thing burns around 10:30. Other entertainments will continue on until 2 AM, or whenever the cops show up. You don't want to miss this. This may never be repeated. It's far to dangerous to taunt the pigs like this...

So BORG2 got by early estimates $7000 from their flying pig sex disaster! While that is about 7.48 seconds worth of borg1 ticket sales, it was quite a nice take. The breakdown is nearly $5000 in "folding money" dontated at the door and an estimated $2000 in change that fell from the pig and is now swilling in a petroleum derived solvent to remove the lard.

The Lard Shall Provide!

(oh, and I don't really know anything about borg1 ticket sales data. That number was derived purely by means of rectal extraction.)
