Pointer to test of pull-out strength of various methods of securing guy lines

Hi everyone,

Last year I came across a post (I believe on ePlaya) where someone did an on playa test of the pull-out strength of various methods for securing guy lines such as lag screws & rebar of different sizes. They even had numbers measuring the force required for each. I've searched high and low and cannot find that thread again. Does anyone know the one I am talking about? / Have a link to it?

I've tried googling for it in the past and it is hard to find. I had it in my bookmarks after someone found it for me last year.

'eplaya lag screws vs. rebar' just like I suggested. EGAZ Thank you for posting it. You have more patience than I. Eplaya is the absolute best source for BM info. We are not playapedia. If you join the community we'll drive to your house and put up your shade with you. If you just stop buy to get info, (especially more than once), at least try to google it before you ask someone else to find it for you.

Or rebar and lag screws or lag screw pull out strength. Or any combination there of.

Google 'lag screws eplaya' and look at the images they provide. Everybodys there figjam, Capt, Joeln, etc....(Bunch a wing nuts if you ask me.)
