gold or silver
I've found that using Kryolan Aquacolor makeup applied with an airbrush works very well.

Make sure you apply to clean skin if at all possible.

Then again, having to air brush another dude's scrotum while his playafied, funky ass is in your face was fair amount of punishment at the time...
