Midwest Burners, a whimsical heartland Burning Man group, is proud to
announce our second annual Regional Burn, InterFuse 2005: Mad
Science.

Midwest Burners is a Burning Man inspired social and recreational association radiating out from the Kansas City area. However, we encourage any other Burners, especially those in the Midwest, to come co-create the InterFuse experience. Of course, you don't need to be a previous Burner to attend this event. The goal of InterFuse is to unite the scattered Burners and pre-Burners of the Midwest in the flames of this
celebration of Art, Fire, and Life - further spreading the unique
Burning Experience through the region.

InterFuse 2005 Theme: Mad Science

This year we are celebrating the whimsical crack-pot inventor aspect
of ourselves. InterFuse will be a mad social experiment in Chaotic
Fusion. Our hypothesis is that the close proximity of multiple
interacting visionaries will generate an endless supply of creative
energy. We predict Chemistrophic Reactions of the Fourth Kind!

The Midwest Burners invite you to come test our hypothesis! Bring
your monsters, loyal assistants, lasers, Tesla coils, clones,
dimensional doors, weather machines, rogue robots, psi-testers,
solar ghost collectors, time machines, alien technologies, strobes,
and EL wire. Transform your camp into your personal workshop.
Conduct live demonstrations of your most radical creations.
Volunteer to be a test subject for bizarre human experiments.
Cram that tesseract into your Mystery Machine and come create
chemistry with fellow eccentrics.

Der FrankenMann Project

This year's Man is a radical experiment in participation. We are
following in the footsteps of Dr. Frankenstein, our fellow Mad
Scientist with all the good luck and all the bad press. Just as
the good doctor created a man out of body parts gathered from various
people, we will similarly build a man with parts created by many
different people. This year, everyone is invited to construct an
appendage and bring it to InterFuse. You may also bring smaller
adornments. After all, the Man's gotta accessorize! No one will
know what Der FrankenMann will look like until we put him together
at the event. The level of participation will determine how
fantastic our creation will be.

$15.00 each, purchased in advance only, via the website.

Tickets will not be available for purchase at the front gate.
No will-call tickets or group discounts are available.

IMPORTANT: Only members of Midwest Burners and their guests may attend InterFuse. Membership is easy and free though! We welcome anyone interested in Burning Man culuture, regardless of geographic location. Visit our website to join online.
